Naya Faisla

Election commission ka ek naya faisla hua h jis me wo log jo vote nai dalna chatey hun wo “Khali khane” k option pe nishaan laga den. Is khali option ko akhir dalne ki zarorat pessh kyn pari ? Misaal k tor par America me sirf 2 parties hain republican or democratic or wahan k shehriyoun k liye asaan hai k kisi 2 parties me se apne man pasand umeed waar ko muntakib(select) karna. Mager humare mulk me 50 se zyada parties hain or ba-mushkil 10 k humain naam pta hunge ab in 10 me se Pakistani awaam kis ko muntakib kare?  Tu un ki asaani k liye shayed election commission ne ek khali jaga ka option daal diya hai jis se awam ko faisla karne me koi pareshani na ho. Election commission shayad ye bhi soch rha hu k jo log vote daalne nai jatey tu wo log us khali jaga pe nishshan laga den ta k un ki bhi pareshani hal hujae.

Ager hum dosri taraf mulk k halaat ko dekhein tu humain smjh aye ga k humare mulk ko ek naye soch, ek naye tabdilli or ek naye umeed ki bohat zarorat hai or behtar ye hai k “khali khane” k option ko tick lagane se acha h k hum kisi ko vote de den. Mulk ka mustaqbil humare haathon me hai . Tamam surat-e-haal humare samne hain jaali degree, corruption, mehngai. Faisla humare hathon me hai k kam az kam hum apne vote ko zaya na hune dein . Or aakheir me ek baat k Hum me se kitne hi aese log hain jo Election ka intezaaar sirf is liye bhi kar rhey hain k chutiyan ajaein gi mager yad rhey k mulk ko chutiyoun se zyada vote ki zarorat hai. Or ye tabdeeli ki taraf Humara pehla kadam huga.

"تعلیم ضروری ہے"

                       ماضی کا ایک واقعہ ہے۔۔ فرعون جس کے نام سے ہم سب واقف ہیں ،جو ایک ظالم حکمران تھا۔ جب وہ اقتیدار میں آیا تو اس نے سب سے پہلے علم حاصل کرنے پہ پابندی لگائ اوراپنی خدائ کا دعوا (۳۰-۴۰ ) کے بعد کیا کیوں کہ اس عرصے میں  وہ لوگ جو تعلیم کو عام کر رہے تھے فرعون نے انھیں قتل کردیا اور لوگ  اتنے جاہل ہوچکے تھے  کہ جب فرعون دن کو رات اور رات کو دن کہتا تھا تو لوگ اسے مانتے تھے اور پھر حضرت موسیٰ  کا ظہور ہوگیا اور انھوں نے لوگوں کو جہالت کے اندھیرے سے باہر نکالا۔۔

                        اگر ہم پاکستان  کی بات کریں تو ہم گزشتہ دنوں کے واقعات کو دیکھیں تو  کچھ شر پسند عناصرہمیں تعلیم اور علم حاصل کرنے سے روک رہے ہیں ، لڑکیوں کے اسکول بند کر رہے ہیں، تعلیم کو عام کرنے والے استاد سبط جعفرجیسی عظیم شخصیت کو دن کی روشنی میں شہید کر دیا گیا اور علماء کرام  کو مارا گیا۔۔  اگر ان سب چیزوں پر غور کیا جاۓ تو یہ تعلیم کو عام کرنے سے روکنے کی سازش نظر آتی ہے ۔ گورنمینٹ اسکولوں کی حالت ناگزیر ہوتی چلی جارہی ہے۔پاکستان میں ہونے والے ان تمام واقعات سے یہ ظاہر ہوتا ہے کہ ملک میں دہشتگردی پھلانے والا کسی فرعون سے کم نہیں۔ جس کو ہم نامعلوم افراد کے نام سے جانتے ہیں۔

                      ہماری سب سے بڑی  غلطی یہ ہے کہ ہم نے کبھی بھی تعلیم کو اپنے ملک کا اہم ترین مسئلہ سمجھا ہی نہیں اور   نہ ہی بہتر بنانے کی کوشش کی۔ہم ۶۵ سال سےغربت اور مہنگائ کا رونا رو رہے ہیں۔ اگر ہم نے تعلیم کو  اہمیت   دی ہوتی تو آج ہمارے ملک کی حالت اتنی خراب نہ ہوتی۔ ہمارے ملک میں۶۰ فیصد لوگ مکمل تعلیم حاصل  کرنے سے قاصر ہیں۔ زرا غور کریں کہ یہی  ۶۰فیصد   لوگ گزشتہ سالوں سے غلط لوگوں کو ووٹ دیتے آرہے ہیں اوریہی وجہ ہے کہ ہمارا ملک پریشانیوں کا  شکار ہےاور اگر آنے واے وقتوں میں تعلیم کے نظام کو بہتر نہ کیا گیا توہماری قوم کا مستقبل خطرے میں ہے ۔۔

گلا تو گھونٹ دیا اہل مدرسہ نے تیرا

کہاں سے آئے صدا لا الٰہ الااللہ

اگر یہی حال رہا تیرے مہخانوں کا

Pakistan Ki faryaad

 پاکستان کی فریاد۔۔۔۔!

ایک چھوٹی سی فریاد میری۔۔

میں آزادی چاہتا ہوں۔۔۔۔

میرا دل بہت بڑا ہے میں سب کو چاہتا ہوں

میری بھی کوئ سنے میں آزادی چاہتا  ہوں

دل میرا روتا ہے جب کوئ بلاۓ مجھے دہشتگرد

اُس پر میں  یہ کہتا ہوں کہ میں تو امن کا پیغام ہوں

یاد آتا ہے وہ دور، جب خون بہا تھا میرے لیے

کہاں گئ وہ آزادی کی لحر جب لوگ مجھے چاہتے تھے

آج جب کوئ کہتا ہےکہ  پاکستان میں کیا رکھا ہے؟

تو میں ان سے کہتا ہوں کہ سب کچھ ہی تو تمھارا ہے

یہ کھیت ، ہریالی ، سرسوں سب ہی کچھ تو تمھارا ہے

تم نہ رکھ سکے خیال اس کا تو میں کیا کرسکتا ہوں؟

لاالہ الا اللہ پر ہواہے  آغاز میرا

اور آج فرقوں میں ،میں دکھا کرتا ہوں

فتنے، قتل و غارت نہ تھا میرے پاس

شاید تم لے کر آۓ ہو وراثت میں اپنے ساتھ

لوگ کہتے ہیں کیا ہے اب میرے پاس؟

میں کہتا ہوں پاکستانیوں!  کیا صرف اتنی سی تھی مجھ سے آس؟

رشوت، بےایمانی نہ تھا میری زمین پر

نہ روز بہتا تھا خوں میری زمین پر

بدنام تم نے کیا ہے مجھ کو میری زمین پر

میں ان سب چیزوں سے اب آزادی چاہتا ہوں

کب کا چھوڑ دیتا میں تمھارا   ساتھ! مگر مجھ پر ہے قربانیوں کا بوجھ

ورنہ تب سے لے کر اب تک میں آزادی چاہتا ہوں

اے سچے پاکستانی! اگر نہیں اٹھا سکتے میرے لیے آواز

 تو میں تم سے بھی ۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔آزادی چاہتا ہوں

Need to change the system of education

Education system in Pakistan:

It is heartening to see the recent step taken by the Government of Punjab to organise the Punjab Youth Festival 2012 in order to promote youth development. Unfortunately, it is a reality that successive governments, both federal and provincial, in Pakistan have seldom planned large-scale events for the betterment of youth.

However, the large number of participants in the festival proves that lack of opportunities, not lack of spirit is the problem. It is high time that the incumbent federal and provincial governments formulate and implement policies focusing mainly on academic programmes for students.

Or, perhaps, even if they are doing so, it’s just not good enough! They need to “do more”. If the governments sincerely want children to grow into productive members of the society, then change should be brought at the grassroots level.

Pakistan’s education system has been criticised for not concentrating on youth development that is absolutely true. Therefore, first the governments should focus on revising or otherwise updating the current system adopted for Matric students, since it is deeply flawed.

The biggest flaw is that examinations are held annually for the students who opt for Matric than O’ levels. It would be better if  the semester system is effectively implemented at all levels throughout Pakistan, rather than the annual system. This, indeed, will help teachers, parents and students themselves to review their performances during the semesters, and also the mid and final exams, so that they can make up for the deficiencies gradually.

Further, since questions in the exams are selected only from the textbooks taught in class, the students rely more on rote learning, rather than understanding the concepts. In the long run, this will prove detrimental for the nation’s progress, because when students stop learning facts meaningfully, they stop asking questions and eventually they stop thinking and rationalising.

And if this happens, they will fail to bring about the much needed change that Pakistan so desperately desires. Hence, the shortcomings in the education system will spell disaster for the country’s coming generations; so they need to be eliminated as soon as possible.

The quickest solution would be to adopt an external examination system. Examination systems such as the International Baccalaureate (“an effective, instructionally sound, exam-based system”) offer a wide range of subjects that are designed to encourage students to ask questions; adopting it will help remove many of the faults prevalent in our own education system.

Further, it will be better to analyse the criteria adopted by top educational institutions around the world. By doing so, we can improve the standard of education in Pakistan, which will benefit the students in particular and the nation in general. It will also motivate our students to compete with foreign students at international levels.

As a final word, we need to make quick decisions to improve the education system for our youth and for an educated, prosperous and peaceful Pakistan.

الیکشن بہت نزدیک ہیں لوگ پھر سے پُر امید ہیں کہ شاید اس بار کوئ تبدیلی دیکھنے کو ملے  مگر تبدیلی کے لیے عملی قدم کے ساتھ ساتھ صبر کی بھی ضرورت ہے،  بات یہاں یہ بھی آجاتی ہے کہ ایک عام شہری ہو کہ ہم کیا کرسکتے ہیں ؟ حل تو بہت ہیں مگر کسی کی نصیحتیں ہمیں پسند نہیں !  چند خراب لوگوں کی وجہ سے ہم کرپشن ، بم بلاسٹ  اور فرقہ وارانہ مسائل میں گھرے رہتے ہیں۔ ایک چھوٹا سا قدم پاکستان میں تبدیلی کا باعث بن سکتا ہے  مثلاٍ ہمارا" ووٹ "۔ بظاہر یہ چھوٹا عمل ہے لیکن پھر بھی لوگ اسے سرانجام نہیں دیتے ۔۔۔ "ہم خود کہتے ہیں اس سے کیا فائدہ"،   شاید آج آپ کا ووٹ آپ کو فائدہ نہ پہچائے اورآپ کا من پسندلیڈر نہ جیتے  اور یہ بھی ہوسکتا ہے کہ یہی ووٹ پاکستان کو روشنی کی کرن دیکھادے۔
